The
day started off gray and rainy, but by the time we drove the hybrid up to the
event, the sun was out and Mt. Rainier was looming magnificently on the horizon.
We pulled the hybrid into a great Unitarian Church in Portland where we had
four hybrids on display. We loaded up the cars for some trips around the block
to show everyone how hybrids work, firsthand. After things wrapped up, the
local Sierra Club folks took us to a nearby Vietnamese restaurant where we
had some tasty Pho.
